Mirasys Gateway is a service that allows 3rd party applications to integrate with the Mirasys VMS. The Gateway service can be installed on any machine, but the recommendation is to dedicate a separate server machine for it. 3rd party applications (acting as Gateway clients) can communicate with the service using a proprietary protocol over TCP. Mirasys provides the Gateway SDK with sample code and documentation for an integration. The Gateway integrations are licensed. System Restrictions
The Mirasys VMS Gateway service can be installed on any Microsoft Windows server that meets the system requirements. Other Mirasys VMS software is not required on the server, but the Gateway service needs to be able to connect to the Mirasys VMS Main Server.
The Gateway service has a default license-controlled limitation of 32 simultaneous streams for all Gateway client connections.
Please note that the minimum system requirements are recommended for mostly live viewing. If multiple Gateway clients access the same Gateway service simultaneously, mainly for search and playback functions, a more powerful processor is required.
Installing The Mirasys Gateway Service
The installer has a step for accepting the End-User License Agreement (EULA). You must confirm that you accept the terms presented in the agreement to continue with the installation.

Double-click the Release_9XX_Gateway_x64.exe installation package to start the installation

After the VMS Gateway Setup screen has loaded, click Next

Tick the checkbox for “I accept the terms in the license agreement” and click Next

Select the destination folder and click Next

Type the Main server address (the IP address of the Main Server) into the Address field and click Next

Click Install

When the software has been installed, click Finish
